List of Live Shows

Live Shows, also known as Face 2 Face Shows, are My Brother, My Brother and Me live performances. The McElroys started doing live shows almost exactly a year after the inception of the podcast.
The live shows mostly follow the same outline as regular episodes, but with the addition of audience questions, as well as some more visual bits, such as Minion Quotes and With Special Guest. There are often segments played in the live shows that do not end up in the show's episode; and not all live shows get uploaded.

In later years their tours have been named and themed after the Yearly Name and have spanned the US and Canada, as well as on the water when performed on the JoCo Cruise. During the pandemic in 2020, they also started doing virtual live shows. Since then, a virtual Candlenights live show has become standard in December.

Audience Questions[]

The audience questions format has changed over the years:

The first four live shows did not feature audience questions. (Episode 51-84)
Audience members emailed their questions and then were chosen to ask it live. (Episode 107-372)
Listeners were urged to email their question beforehand, and then at the show the brothers pitted two audience questions against each other and decided which one to answer. (Episode 373-402, with the exception of 388)
Back to their second format, where listeners sent in their questions prior to the show and the brothers chose which got asked. (Episode 406-??)
Listeners email a snippet of their question beforehand, and then the brothers ask them to present it in full at the live show. (This is the current format as of Episode ??.)

Trivia[]

Whenever the boys play a show in Washington, DC, they put Joe Biden on the list.^[1]^[2]
During live show introductions, Justin often mentions that the brothers have emerged just like "the Chilean miners." This is in reference to the 30 Chilean miners who were trapped underground in 2010. The first live show occurence of the miners comment was in Ep. 51 in 2011, but it wasn't more frequently featured until 2014.
The brothers' father, Clint McElroy, often performs the intro disclaimer for the live show episodes, also known as the Clintro.
